Green Sheets

While you can use GradeKeeper to record grades and attendance, other options exist as well.  Word, Excel, and other 3rd party gradekeeping programs are perfectly acceptable.

Here's the blank GreenSheet file. I've removed all my grade calculating formulas, but it is important for the end-user to know that they should download, copy/paste, or type in the students' names on the page called Names&#s, NOT ON THE FIRST PAGE, and that list should not have any headers. I use WebSMART and the Excel Download button; I then manually select everything except the header row, and paste that into the Names&#s page, and use the Text>Columns command to separate the block into its component parts. Then the formulas on page one and elsewhere print the names and abbreviations on the other pages.

The only manual typing on the first page is the header information (course, section, instructor name, class time, etc.) and once typed in, formulas on the other pages copy what's needed.

Let me know if you have any questions.
