Getting sounds to play reliably and consistently requires two things:

• the browser must be set find the plug-in that can play the sound file.
  

When linking a sound to text or an image, always check to see that it will play on both Macintosh and Windows systems. Always provide alternative text for non-hearing users.

Allow a minute or two to fully load sound file.
